Fix 2 : Re-Activate Windows 10 Via CMD

Sometimes activating windows 10 via the gui does not work and we need to activate via the CMD (Command prompt) to do this follow these steps

  1. Click start and type in cmd and right click on the command prompt application and click on run as administrator

  3. In the command prompt window type in  slmgr.vbs –ipk @@PRODUCT KEY@@ replace @@PRODUCT KEY@@ with your product key

  5. Next run the command slmgr.vbs -ato and hit enter, windows 10 should now activate.

  7. Next lets confirm that windows is activated. Open file explorer from the start menu
