- Download the official microsoft tool using one of the links below
- Windows 10 32 bit Click Here
- Windows 10 64 Bit Click Here
- Double click on the “MediaCreationTool.exe” file then select “Create installation media for another PC”
- Select the language you want
- Select the edition of windows 10 you have installed
- Click next
- Make sure “USB flash drive” is selected and click next
- Select your USB drive and click next
- The recovery disk will now be created

Step 2 : Boot To Recovery Disk
Next we need to boot to the USB drive we just created. With most machines you can press a button just before windows loads and this will bring up a one time boot menu. You will need to find out what this button is for your system (Usually F9 or F10)
If your machine does not have a one time boot option then you will need to go in to your systems BIOS and set the USB drive as the primary boot device. To get in to computer BIOS you usually have to press Del or ETC or F1, each computer is different.

Step 3 : Run Startup Repair

- exit
- Restart your machine

To do this follow these steps
- Boot to the recovery disk we created
- On the first screen select your required language and keyboard layout and click next
- On the next screen click on Repair your computer
- On the choose an option screen click on troubleshoot
- On the troubleshoot screen click on advanced options
- In the advanced options menu click on command prompt
- A black window will now open, type in the below commands one by one and hit enter
- bcdedit /set {GUID} recoveryenabled No
- exit
- Restart your machine
Step 7 : Run DISM Restore Health
By running the DISM command we can reset the windows 10 boot files to default. To do this follow these steps.
- Boot to the recovery disk we created
- On the first screen select your required language and keyboard layout and click next
- On the next screen click on Repair your computer
- On the choose an option screen click on troubleshoot
- On the troubleshoot screen click on advanced options
- In the advanced options menu click on command prompt
- A black window will now open, type in the below commands one by one and hit enter
- Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
- Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
- Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- exit
- Restart your machine
Step 8 : Refresh Your PC
The last option you can take is to use the refresh your PC option. By taking this option windows 10 will get reinstalled and you should not lose any data or applications.

- On the next screen click on Repair your computer
